What is ai.type.ex?
This is a blog about my experiments with Type Design and Artificial Intelligence. I am experimenting with different AI-Tools like text-2-image models, diffusion models and image recognition to explore how Artificial Intelligence can change and support the process of a type designer.

Hi, I am Frida
and I study communication design in Hamburg. In my bachelor thesis I am working on Artificial Intelligence and Type Design. As a designer I try to grasp and explore with an experimental approach, without having extensive mathematical experience in programming. I try to sharpen the view and exchange ideas with other creatives about the use of Artificial Intelligence in the design process.
